Meet a Chicago LSAT Tutor: Chrissy D.

Chrissy began her career in teaching after graduating from Yale with a degree in Cognitive Psychology. A major that emphasized learning patterns and behaviors, Chrissy entered the classroom with a unique understanding of how to teach her pupils effectively. Early in her career, she taught English as a second language in Seoul, South Korea, at several institutions that included high schools, hospitals, and corporations. After teaching for three years, she took the LSAT and was accepted to several law schools. Almost at the last moment, Chrissy pivoted in her career track. Instead of going forward with law school, this promising student headed to Korea once again to develop the departments and assist in training for a major U.S. law firm in Korea.

Through her work, Chrissy continued aggregating new experience, rising through the ranks of a multinational corporation. She led training initiatives for hundreds of employees. Following a laundry list of accomplishments, Chrissy revisited her higher education options. This time she decided to pursue her degree through Business School, collecting her MBA at Cornell. After graduating, Chrissy joined Manhattan Review while working on her own consulting venture. She has been an LSAT tutor in Chicago for the past four years. How did Chrissy get such a top score on her LSAT (99th percentile score of 172)? She'll be happy to share with you the secrets to her own success. When Chrissy isn't teaching or taking standardized tests, she is busy managing her own consulting firm or, perhaps, consulting her own son in high school about the college admissions process.
