Meet a Boulder TOEFL Tutor: Calliope S.

Born and raised in Colorado, as a first generation American Calliope always wanted to pursue a career in education because she enjoyed helping people. Her ability to overcome a few academic obstacles were all the more motivation Calliope needed to cement her decision to pursue the development of others like herself when the opportunity presented itself. This was particularly true once she began working with college students who expressed the challenges that they had to overcome as a result of being a non-native English speaker. Sensitive to their plight, because she was familiar on a personal level, Calliope began to pursue additional work as a private tutor for Manhattan Review's TOEFL test prep program.

Since joining our team of elite private tutors, Calliope has been instrumental in helping Manhattan Review to deliver unprecedented and 100 percent customizable TOEFL test prep consultant services to non native English speakers in Boulder. As a full-time instructor who lends a hand at Manhattan Review on a part-time basis, Calliope spends a great deal of time working with and developing students, particularly helping them to overcome their test-taking adversity. Calliope has intimate knowledge of how difficult it can be to pursue academic goals and yet overcome the obstacles to achieve great success, both academically and professionally. She serves as a shining example to her students, which is why we are thrilled to have Calliope as part of our instructional team at Manhattan Review.
