As a native of Florida, Davis' knowledge of the intermountain western part of the United States was pretty limited. And while he always envisioned a life for himself that included worldwide travel, Davis never conceived that one day he would end up building a life for himself and his wife, Amanda, and their three daughters in Salt Lake City, Utah. But before landing in Salt Lake City, Davis did in fact achieve his dream of a career in the hospitality/tourism industry immediately after graduating from Florida International University in Miami with both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Business Administration, neither of which would have been possible, according to Davis, without his own GMAT score that he worked very hard to reach the 99th percentile prior to entering college.
