We have found that it is important to offer a variety of different types of courses to meet our client's learning needs and scheduling needs. For some students, working in a dynamic group atmosphere with both peers and a highly-qualified instructor. Others find that they have specific needs that are better met in a one-on-one setting. Perhaps they enjoy the atmosphere of a group experience; however, they find that it is harder to focus with others around. In some cases, we have had students approach us for private tutoring to accommodate a personalized pace, whether slower or faster than the average course, spending concentrated time on the areas that need the most work and allowing for a quick review in cases where the client is already showing mastery.

At Manhattan Review, we love to hear back from our GRE clients to get their success stories. We have had students from Knoxville and worldwide who have been accepted to a long list of prestigious postsecondary institutions, including Oxford, Harvard, Princeton, Vanderbilt, Dartmouth, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Cambridge, Yale, the University of Chicago, the University of Toronto, Australian National University, the University of Tennessee, the University of California at Berkeley, and the University of Pennsylvania. Graduating from these elite programs have prepared with the skills necessary to compete in the modern economy. Some of our past clients have been hired by Fortune 500 firms, including Netflix, Wells Fargo, Berkshire Hathaway, State Farm Insurance, Facebook, and Prudential Financial. Others have returned to Knoxville for public and private sector jobs at Tennessee Valley Authority, Oak Ridge National Laboratory, Discovery, Inc., TeamHealth, Brunswick Boat Group, and more. Meet a Knoxville GRE Tutor: Sarah B.

Sarah B joined Manhattan Review in the Chicago office while she was earning her master's in secondary science education at the University of Chicago. She loved the experience of working with motivated students who wanted to work with her to reach their goals. She relocated to Knoxville after finishing her master's, but continued to work with Manhattan Review because she loves the methods and materials made available to her clients.

Sarah is known as a sympathetic instructor who has a clear understanding of both the GRE material and the best pedagogical methods to work with students of all types. Students appreciate her ability to explain difficult concepts; many of them credit her with their eventual acceptance to their top-choice institution. When Sarah isn't teaching, she loves to knit things she presents at local art festivals, read, and go to the Knoxville Opera.
