SAT Tutoring in Santiago

Are you a Santiago-based student seeking to obtain the highest possible score on the SAT? If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive SAT preparation resources, look no further than the standardized test prep experts at Manhattan Review. When it comes to mastering complex academic information, many students learn perfectly well in classroom-style group settings, gaining important benefits from interactions with peers and finding their learning improved by others' questions and comments. Other students, however, know that they do not perform to their full capacity in a group setting. They worry about not grasping information as fast as other students and fear that they will hold the group back. Alternatively, these students may feel frustrated when they have mastered a particular concept but cannot move on until the rest of the group is able to demonstrate similar mastery. If you find trying to learn important test-related information in a group more distracting than helpful and know you remember concepts best through one-on-one instruction, consider working with one of the experienced private tutors at Manhattan Review.

Meet a Santiago SAT Tutor: Alejandro R.

Alejandro R. was born in Honduras but moved to Vermont with his family as a teen. Alejandro dreamed of becoming a professional artist and illustrator and hoped to one day attend the Rhode Island School of Design, respected around the globe for producing leaders in the fields of graphic design, illustration, and other forms of art. Alejandro worked hard during high school, serving on various committees and chairing councils in addition to playing varsity soccer. His diligence, combined with an impressively high SAT score, led to Alejandro being accepted by the art school of his dreams, in addition to awarding him generous financial assistance.

After graduating from the School of Design, Alejandro moved to New York, where he taught art classes at a local high school and college in addition to taking on work as a freelance illustrator. Alejandro greatly enjoyed teaching others, which led him to obtain a master's degree in teaching from Northeastern University. When his cousin accepted a job in Santiago, he invited Alejandro to come and live with him, and Alejandro immediately packed his suitcases. Shortly after settling in, Alejandro accepted a position teaching art in an after-school program. This led to him eventually joining the team at Manhattan Review to help local students prepare for the SAT. Students appreciate his tips for recalling important information, as well as his strategies for reducing test-related stress. When he isn't helping future college students master the SAT, Alejandro can be found enjoying local restaurants with his cousin and playing tennis on the weekends.
