SAT Prep Course Tokyo - Photo of Student Niaema Fox

Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Tokyo SAT Tutor: Callie P.

Callie attended University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, with a diligent study of sciences that led to her admission into the school's highly competitive Pharmacy program. Once she attained her Pharm.D, she worked for small businesses before landing a competitive role with an international pharmaceutical company.

With an emphasis on compounding medications administered to patients, the young pharmacist developed her skill set and thrived in this role for nearly 25 years. Back in 2005, her spouse published a work of fiction and set out on a worldwide book tour. Callie came along in support – but also interested to participate in this exciting itinerary.

The couple spent time in many major cities, including Tokyo. It was five years later that a career opportunity presented itself, and Callie had the opportunity to transfer to one of the company's locations in Asia. No one was surprised when Callie announced that the pair would be relocating to Tokyo. Of course, the company ensured that she had the certifications necessary to relocate. In the years since, Tokyo has become a second home where Callie has thrived.

Seeking more experience as an educator to advance her career, Callie first connected with Manhattan Review. She has long since obtained the promotion she was seeking, but now she's a very successful private tutor helping students achieve top SAT scores in Tokyo. In her spare time, she roots for the UNC Tarheels, hikes with her chocolate lab, and bakes.
