Unlike most other test prep companies, the majority of Manhattan Review's clients are originally from outside of the United States, and this cosmopolitan perspective gives us an advantage that none of our competitors can match. Manhattan Review's exceptional TOEFL tutors and classroom instructors use diverse methods of instruction to ensure that all students learn in the most effective manner possible. You'll become fluent in TOEFL content, TOEFL study techniques, and TOEFL testing strategies, all of which contribute to the best possible TOEFL scores. Receive details on our TOEFL prep options in Evanston and answers to your questions by phoning, emailing, or contacting us online.

Individual degree programs are usually responsible for setting TOEFL benchmarks. It is important for prospective undergraduate or graduate students to understand the TOEFL requirements that are specific to the degrees they wish to pursue, and these scores are not always consistent with the expectations of the governing university divisions. Acceptable TOEFL total scores can range from as low as 60 at less selective institutions to a high of 110 at the most elite universities. The majority of programs, however, will be satisfied with total scores of 100 and sectional scores of 25 each. Graduate applicants seeking teaching assistantships may have to fulfill more stringent requirements, especially on the speaking and listening sections of the exam. With professional TOEFL instruction, TOEFL score standards can be met with a reasonable amount of effort and within a reasonable amount of time. Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep services in Evanston will help get you through your TOEFL requirements, so you can devote more time to your primary studies.

Students who complete Manhattan Review's TOEFL prep courses or TOEFL private tutoring plans are consistently admitted to the best universities in the United States. Our TOEFL clients have begun and finished undergraduate and/or graduate degrees at Stanford, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard, Princeton, Yale, Columbia, Dartmouth, UC Berkeley, Northwestern, Georgetown, the University of Chicago, Brown, Duke, the California Institute of Technology, the University of Virginia, Carnegie Mellon, the University of Michigan, the University of Wisconsin-Madison, New York University, and other schools too numerous to list here. The companies that have hired former Manhattan Review students include Bank of America, Archer Daniels Midland, JP Morgan Chase, State Farm Insurance, Magnetar Capital, ZS Associates, Lockboxer, and Bernard Food Industries. Assimilating into the culture of a new country is no easy task, but strong language skills will make everything easier.
