Meet a Scottsdale TOEFL Tutor: Chris D.
Born and raised in northern California, where his family owns and operates a vineyard, Chris never really spent much time in his youth around anyone who learned English as a second language. Although he always had a passion for helping people, it never once dawned on Chris that he would one day be interested in tutoring English proficiency. Chris met his lovely wife Erin, who is a first generation American, while on a business trip for his current employer, a AAA Five Diamond hotel and resort in Scottsdale. Seeing the trials and tribulations that his in-laws endured as a result of their limited English propelled Chris to not only want to help them, but also help others in Scottsdale learn to master the English language as well. That was five years ago.
