ACT Tutoring in Albuquerque (New Mexico)
Students in the Albuquerque area looking to do as well as they possibly can when taking the ACT exam would do well to look into the option of private tutoring, which Manhattan Review can provide as both an in-person and online option for those who are interested in preparing for their exam one on one with a mentor. Manhattan Review has been helping to provide students with tutors for various standardized tests since 1999, and the tutors we provide are some of the most experienced in the Albuquerque area. Our tutors have all taken the exams that they teach, and scored in the highest percentiles, and are subsequently trained using our methodology and world-class materials. Our tutors also keep up with the current formatting and test layouts in order to help our students know what will be expected on the current exam, and they are available to meet students who choose to take in-person lessons at mutually available locations in the Albuquerque area.
While the SAT and the ACT have different requirements and formatting and thus cater to different strengths and weaknesses, the seemingly lesser-known ACT is a widely taken exam that allows students who would prefer to have access to a calculator during the mathematics portion of the exam to shine. However, since the math is inherently more complicated in the context of this exam, assistance in the form of a tutor may be necessary to help prepare people who lack confidence in their test-taking abilities, and Manhattan Review is here to provide you with some of Albuquerque's best and brightest. The tutors that Manhattan Review can provide our students can be utilized in any location that mutually works for the tutor and their students, with flexible scheduling designed to work for both parties. We also offer customizable lesson plans that can be arranged to fit the needs of the student's learning techniques.
Students who have used Manhattan Review's tutoring services to assist them in their preparation for the ACT exam have gone on to success in academia as a result of our test preparation allowing them to get into highly ranked colleges. Some past Albuquerque residents who have used tutors from Manhattan Review to prepare for the ACT have gone to colleges such as Harvard, Yale, Stanford, University of California at Los Angeles, Emory, Brown, Brandeis, University of New Mexico, University of Texas at Austin and many more. This has also led to professional success as a result, with many of our past students going on to success and employment at various Fortune 500 companies, including several in the Albuquerque area. Manhattan Review's tutoring services are sure to help any student with their performance and their confidence in taking the ACT. Meet an Albuquerque ACT Tutor: Ethan M.
Ethan completed his Bachelor's Degree in English at Dartmouth before moving back to his hometown of Albuquerque. He is currently working on his Master's degree in teaching, but his high performance on the ACT when he took it to prepare for college encouraged him to take up tutoring and help others to prepare for the exam. He also tutors in the SAT, TOEFL, and IELTS exams.
Ethan grew up in a bilingual household and has since learned two other languages, which has helped him in grasping the various ways that other languages can be related to English. He also performed well on the math sections of the ACT, and he believes that a strong awareness of language can help one understand the rules of the math problems on the SAT and ACT. In his spare time, Ethan plays the drums.
