Meet a Bern ACT Tutor: Angelo D.
Angelo D. was born in Athens and never really imagined living anywhere else until he moved to the US for college. Angelo hoped to one day become a professional educator, like his father and grandfather, and he planned to specialize in mathematics. After obtaining a very high ACT score, Angelo was accepted at Penn State. During his undergrade program, Angelo worked part-time as a tutor in the Math & Science Lab, helping others who did not enjoy working with numbers as much as he did. After graduating, Angelo obtained a master's degree in mathematics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), as well as a master's degree in education from Tufts University. When he was offered a position as a math teacher at a school in Bern, Angelo packed his suitcases and happily relocated.
Angelo loves working with students, and when he learned Manhattan Review had a local office in Bern, he reached out about helping students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests. Angelo was quickly welcomed to the team, and his private tutoring students love his detail-oriented approach to test-taking success. When Angelo isn't guiding future college students to their own ACT high scores, he can be found playing the guitar in a local band and visiting family in Greece.
