Meet a Dayton ACT Tutor: Jordan L.
Jordan L. was born in Oklahoma City and dreamed of moving to the East Coast for college. Jordan hoped to one day become a professional educator, like his mother and uncle, and he planned to specialize in mathematics. After working hard in high school and obtaining a very high ACT score, Jordan was accepted at Penn State. During his undergraduate program, Jordan worked part-time as a tutor in the Math Lab, helping others who did not find solving problems with numbers as enjoyable as he did. After graduating, Jordan obtained a master's degree in mathematics from MIT, as well as a master's degree in education from Boston College. When he was offered a position as a math teacher at a school in Dayton, Jordan was happy to return to the Midwest and even happier to continue working directly with students.
When Jordan learned Manhattan Review had a local office in Dayton, he contacted us about helping students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests. Jordan was quickly welcomed to the team, and his private tutoring students love his methodical and detail-oriented approach to test mastery. When Jordan isn't guiding future college students to their own ACT success, he can be found kayaking in the summer and hitting the ski slopes with friends in the winter.
