ACT Private Tutoring in Ghent (Belgium)
Are you a student in the Ghent area seeking to obtain the highest score possible on the ACT? If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive resources to support your ACT preparation, look no further than the test prep professionals at Manhattan Review. By providing students an important alternative to the SAT, the ACT has become an increasingly popular exam over the past few years. When it comes to preparing for such an important exam, some students know they do just fine learning in a classroom-style setting, finding others' questions or comments helpful. Other students, however, know they do not perform at their best when trying to master complex academic information in a group setting. They may worry about slowing the group down or holding others back because they need to work at a slower pace. Alternatively, these students may become bored or frustrated once they have mastered a subject but cannot move on until the rest of the group can demonstrate similar mastery. If you know you learn best through one-on-one instruction customized to your individual test-taking needs, we invite you to consider working with one of the experienced private tutors at Manhattan Review.
If you are focused on taking your ACT preparation to the next level, you do not need to prepare for this challenging standardized test on you own. Research consistently demonstrates that working with a professional educator offers numerous important benefits, including accelerated learning, improved recall and retention, and improved confidence in your test-taking abilities. Preparing for a test with a tutor who has customized lesson plans to your learning needs can significantly improve your ability to understand and recall even the most difficult information. Meet a Ghent ACT Tutor: Frances C.
Frances C. was born in San Francisco, and she hoped to one day become a professional educator like her mother. After earning a very high ACT score, Frances was accepted at Syracuse University. While earning an undergraduate degree in biology, Frances worked part-time as a tutor in the university's learning center, helping others master science- and math-based material. After graduating, Frances attended Dartmouth University, where she obtained a master's degree in education. When she was offered a position as a science teacher at an international school in Ghent, Frances was excited to move overseas and couldn't wait to experience living in Europe.
Frances loves any opportunity to work with students, and when she learned Manhattan Review had a local office in Ghent, she reached out to us about helping students prepare for the ACT and other standardized tests, knowing just how important a high test score could be when applying to college. Frances was immediately welcomed to the team, and her private tutoring students love her calm and detail-oriented approach to test preparation, as well as her easy-to-remember study tips. When Frances isn't guiding future college students to their own ACT success, she can be found acting with a local theater group and kickboxing.
