Meet a Cincinnati Tutor: Hank D.
Having been a calculus tutor for more than a decade, Hank is quite familiar with any standardized exam. He is experienced in GMAT, GRE, SAT and LSAT exams used by graduate programs and universities all over the country. He even scored an amazing 770 with a 50 in Quantitative and 49 in Verbal, placing him in the 99th percentile on the GMAT exam.
In the classroom, Hank knows how to keep his students' attention. Using a variety of teaching techniques, like role-playing to grammar guessing games, Hank has a gift for making the difficult topics rather easy. He rarely sits down during classes and makes it a point to engage with each and every student. His outgoing personality and exam prep experience have students raising their test scores consistently year after year.
As an avid baseball fan, Hank was drawn to Cincinnati after visiting several times for opening day in the city which boasts the first Major League Baseball team ever; the Cincinnati Reds. Upon graduating with a BS from Stanford in Computer Science and Engineering, Hank made the move to The Queen City and hasn't looked back. He uses his knowledge of statistics in baseball to lead students in building on their math scores. If he's not in the classroom or watching his Red's, Hank will be found walking his dog, Lucky, around Smale Riverfront Park or enjoying the annual Jazz Festival in the infamous downtown Fountain Square.
