TOEFL Prep Courses in Fort Worth (Texas)
With so many students in the Fort Worth area whose first language is not the English language and that need to potentially apply to schools where they can demonstrate their knowledge of the English language, a student getting a high score on the TOEFL exam is an increasingly important indicator for schools as to how well prepared those students are for courses that are being held in the English language. Manhattan Review can help those students who are looking to improve their score on the TOEFL exam via its various standardized test preparation methods for students in the Fort Worth area, which are time tested and always shifting to current needs. Manhattan Review has been providing students with preparation for the TOEFL exam since 1999 and can help anyone who needs assistance in learning a new language and preparing for the exam with the goals of taking that particular exam.
Students who use Manhattan Review for TOEFL preparation have a wide variety of options to choose from in terms of how they will prepare for the test. Manhattan Review can provide students who are taking the TOEFL with group courses that allow students who are trying to learn the same language the ability to collaborate with each other, along with an instructor to guide them along the way. These courses can be provided both in person in the Fort Worth area, or online, depending on the needs of the student. Students can also take advantage of Manhattan Review's individual tutoring option, which allows students to work a tutor who can guide them via a customizable lesson plan that adjusts for the student's strengths and weaknesses, and which can also be done online or in person as necessary. Manhattan Review can also provide a wide variety of practice tests for the TOEFL exam.
Students who are debating whether to take the TOEFL or the IELTS exam for their English language proficiency exam of choice should definitely take the time to do the research as to which exam is a better fit for the university of their choice. However, with an increasing number of universities choosing to take both exams, the decision as to whether to take the more academically oriented TOEFL or the more conversationally based IELTS is a matter of personal preference more than which university is going to take it. Students who use Manhattan Review to help them prepare for the TOEFL have a track record of being able to successfully demonstrate proficiency in a new language and use their high score on the exam to their advantage in their academic career. Meet a Fort Worth TOEFL Tutor: Neil S.
Neil S. earned his Bachelor's degree in Spanish and a Master of Arts in teaching from Brown University, and then returned to his hometown of Fort Worth to continue his career as a Spanish teacher. In addition to teaching the TOEFL and IELTS, he also teaches the SAT and ACT, along with giving private lessons in both English and Spanish.
Neil has been helping his students with their preparation for learning a new language and taking exams in that language for several years and in many different forms, and he is currently learning Latin to help himself illustrate the commonalities between the languages. In his spare time, he reads novels and is working on writing a book of his own.
