The Graduate Management Admissions Test, or GMAT, is one of the most widely used standardized tests around the world. As prospective students already know, the GMAT is also one of the biggest potential hurdles that they must overcome during the application process to get into graduate business school. There are two obvious reasons for this. ...Thanks so much for you help! The 80 point improvement was fabulous! I wished I had hit the 700 mark, but 680 is around the 90% mark, so it should be okay......The Manhattan Review course not only focuses students upon solving complicated quantitative and verbal problems, but also prepares students for a range of cognitive failures that the GMAT exploits and few books address...

Meet a Charlotte GMAT Tutor: Jason A.
Growing up on the outskirts of Charlotte, Jason spent most of his life in a rural town, thinking that the south didn't have much to offer in the way of industry. In addition to always have a propensity towards business; thanks large in part to helping his father out with his own local car repair shop, Jason has also always been really academically inclined. Early on, he was a wunderkind of sorts, affording him the opportunity to skip a couple grades in grade school and then later earning him scores within the 99th percentile on both the SAT and GMAT. It would only seem natural for Jason to one day parlay his innate test taking and academic fortitude into a tutoring career, which is precisely what he did.
When Jason joined our world-class team of professional tutors at Manhattan Review in Charlotte, he came to us with a unique combination of professional experience, ten years at the corporate office for Meineke Car Care Center with his most recent title being an executive level manager, as well as previous success with standardized tests. With attributes like those, our students were sure to be impressed, and that they have been. But even more importantly, they have been really impressed with his ability to relate to them and breakdown the most complex of terms into the simplest possible terms, giving way to a better understanding for the students. Jason is also quite the NASCAR fan and often incorporates his love of the sport into analogies when working with the students, which they all love. Many a student has left comment cards about his private tutoring upon completion of our GMAT test prep program and specifically noted how Jason not only helped them with their test prep, but his approachability and love for a Charlottean favorite pastime just endeared them to him even more.
