Of course it stands to reason that the most elite business programs in the country has to sift through hundreds, if not thousands, of applications every year. In order to make an impression, one has to score well above the national average on the GMAT. The latest entering class profile at the Stanford Graduate School of Business, for example, shows a total GMAT range of 600-790 and an average GMAT score of 732. The mean GMAT score for new students in the Wharton School's MBA program is also 732. Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business reports a that their incoming class scored an average of 693. The vast majority of business programs that are known around the nation and world clearly expect GMAT scores of at least 650, and 700 or above is the norm for the most elite institutions. Enter Manhattan Review's professional GMAT tutoring or GMAT prep courses, and with our world-class materials and instructors, upper-percentile GMAT scores are achievable for most students who devote the necessary effort to their GMAT studies.
