GMAT Tutoring in Knoxville (Tennessee)
Since 1999, Manhattan Review has been innovating the way our tutors and students approach their GMAT preparation. We are happy to be able to offer an array of learning plans to accommodate Knoxville residents in their various learning and scheduling needs. Some of our students thrive in a dynamic group atmosphere. They want the expertise and professionalism of our tutors as well as the input that comes from classroom discussion and the atmosphere of working in a group toward the same goal. For those students we offer on-site group courses as well as interactive online group courses. Other clients have found that they need the personalized experience of working one-on-one with one of our learning coaches. These students find group learning to be distracting or have very specific needs they'd like to address with a tutor who can focus all of his or her energy on one person. For those clients, we offer private tutoring, both in-person or online, depending on your needs. We're also happy to offer our clients consultation services and practice GMAT exams. Call, email, or contact us online to learn more about which learning plan is most useful for you and your goals.
Manhattan Review knows that success in our student comes from a winning combination of top-quality tutors, rigorous materials, and an effective methodology. We make it our business to find and hire the best instructors in the industry before training them to use our proven methods and materials. This ensures our clients have the best possible experience and have the reassurance that their time in preparation is well-spent.
As you begin preparing to take the GMAT, it is important to research the GMAT expectations for the institution of your choice. While the average GMAT score is around 550, elite programs expect much higher scores. For example, University of Tennessee's Haslam College of Business's incoming class has an average GMAT score of 656 while Columbia University's incoming class scored an average of 727. We suggest that students learn the average score and aim to score a bit above it to help their applications stand out. We have heard from thousands of the Manhattan Review GMAT clients who have been admitted to the best institutions for advanced business training, including Harvard Business School, the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business, the London School of Economics, the Yale School of Management, Saïd Business School at the University of Oxford, McGill University's Desautels Faculty of Management, the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management, and countless others. After completing their graduate business degrees, many of these test-takers are now working for Fortune 500 companies or firms in Knoxville (including Discovery, Inc., Regal Cinemas, New York Life Insurance, JP Morgan Chase, Wells Fargo, Tombras Group, Bush Brothers, Pilot Flying J, TeamHealth, and Tennessee Valley Authority). Manhattan Review clients know that an accomplished career in business starts with success in a top-rate business program.

Meet a Knoxville GMAT Tutor: Cara T.
Cara T. has been preparing the students to take the GMAT with Manhattan Review since 2012. She started tutoring in our New York office while she was earning her master's degree from Columbia University. Cara had earned a high score on the GMAT and wanted to help other students have the same feeling of success. After finishing her master's, she moved to Knoxville to work with a local communications firm and continues to teach with Manhattan Review.
Cara is known as an instructor who is flexible and understanding while still maintaining high standards for her students to be able to offer a rigorous learning plan. One former student said of Cara, "She definitely holds you accountable to do the work, but she does it in a way that lets you know she really cares. I would have never scored as well as I did had she not held such high expectations!" When Cara isn't teaching or working, she enjoys to attend Lady Vols basketball games and go running.
