Meet a New York GMAT Tutor: Shelby N.
Shelby recently graduated from Cornell's Johnson Graduate School of Management. She earned her MBA degree with a focus in capital markets and asset management after scoring an impressive 760 on the GMAT. Before matriculating to business school, Shelby considered a career in Law or a Master's degree in accounting. She had worked with investment banking firms in the past and briefly pursued a stint on Wall Street before going for her MBA. What ultimately factored into her decision was a partnership venture that would expand her professional latitude overseas.
Shelby is a transplant of the West Coast, where she received her undergraduate degree from University of California, Berkeley, earning her Bachelor of Science degree from the Haas School of Business – a highly competitive undergraduate program. Shelby is an avid reader, an aquarist of a 55-gallon saltwater fish tank, a skilled pianist, and loves her cockatiel, Domingo.
