Meet a San Antonio GMAT Tutor: Phil C.
Growing up in Texas as the son of a farmer, Phil always had aspirations to take his family's business to the next level, with the help of a business education. So, he worked really hard in school, and even though it was a challenge for him at first, he even managed to earn a nearly perfect grade point average before graduating from high school. Naturally, his phenomenal GPA coupled with his high SAT score earned him a slot at the prestigious Wayland Baptist University. There he worked towards both his undergrad and graduate degrees in Business Administration before embarking on highly rewarding career.
After honing his business skills by climbing the corporate ladder with a popular southern food chain headquartered in San Antonio, Phil then retired from the corporate world with his knowledge and skills to go make good on his initial promise to help the family business. That he did and then some. Phil ended up taking his family vegetable farming business from just barely breaking even each year to boasting a profit, including affording hiring more workers and a necessary expansion. While back at home on the farm in San Antonio, Phil found himself teaching on the job more and more and even enjoyed it. So, two years later when an opportunity to tutor for Manhattan Review presented itself, Phil was very interested.
Since joining the elite team of professional tutors at Manhattan Review in San Antonio, Phil has been imparting the many years of work experience, both in the corporate world and as an entrepreneur, onto his students in an effort to give them the benefit of his knowledge. Through the use of his real-life examples, Phil's students are able to see the practicality and ultimately relate to the information so much more. Students often compliment Phil on his good nature and approachability and marvel at the fact that someone like him worked so long in corporate America.
Outside of the classroom, Phil is an avid San Antonio Spurs fan and often attends every home game he can with his wife, Elizabeta. He is also passionate about the environment, and growing up as a farmer's son, he learned to appreciate Mother Nature. It is not uncommon to spot Phil engrossed in a passionate conversation about the environment with his students, but only after a rewarding and intense tutoring session.
