I attended a weekend course with Manhattan Review, the perfect timing for me while working. We managed to cover a lot of ground very quickly and I ended up with 760, just what I needed for the Sloan program at London Business School that I will be starting later this year.

Meet a Seattle GMAT Tutor: Frederick H.
Born and raised in beautiful Eugene, Oregon, Frederick came to the Seattle area (Pullman, to be exact) to study at Washington State University. With a focus on Engineering, Frederick minored in Latin because of his love of the Roman classics and his growing vocabulary through Latin derivatives. He continued his studies, getting his Masters degree at University of Washington. He met his now wife in a most cliché way: They were both touring the Space Needle for the first time, playing tourist for a day. Striking up a conversation about their hometowns and learning they both hailed from Eugene, the sightseeing encounter led to a long-term engagement.
Frederick enjoyed his career in Engineering for more than two decades. He says his favorite project, if not the most random, was testing new plastics for ready-to-microwave grocery containers. Frederick wanted to take his career to the next level, so he set about taking a business management course. While exploring his options and doing the research, he realized that he would be better suited for the top-notch business program at Seattle University. It helped that Frederick's company would help cover the cost of his studies. Hitting the flashcard and the books hard, the language and math-minded student scored in the top 99th percentile on the GMAT exam, clinching his spot in the Seattle school.
Frederick has been with his current company for 30 years. In 2009, he branched out to offer private tutoring services for the GMAT exam in the Seattle area. Soft-spoken and easy-going, this tutor is approachable and patient. Skilled at identifying strengths and weaknesses, he can work with you and show you what to expect from the GMAT, step-by-step and section-by-section. Frederick has a proven track record, with pupils that have gone on to study at University of Virginia, Berkeley, Dartmouth, Princeton, Georgetown and MIT. In his spare time, Frederick and his wife enjoy sailing and visiting family and friends in Oregon and California.
