GRE Tutoring in Charlotte (North Carolina)
For prospective graduate students, the Graduate Record Examination, or GRE, is one of the, if not the biggest, steps in the application process to get into graduate school. As a result, many students realize that the GRE is not just another test, but rather the test that can make or break their short-term academic plans. Unlike with the tests college students are accustomed to studying for and taking, the GRE covers much more in depth material and requires more critical thinking. Specifically, the nearly four-hour long GRE test is divided into three sections: Verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and analytical writing. To prepare for a standardized test of this magnitude, prospective graduate students will need to ramp up their study strategies. Manhattan Review's private tutors can help you design a strategy that is guaranteed to deliver results.

I was most impressed with how efficient Vince was with everything, he came prepared and he knew what he was talking about. I liked the efficiency. I already came in with a good idea with what I needed to work on and Vince was great in attacking my weaknesses. I cannot think of anything I disliked or that he could improve about his teaching style.

Meet a Charlotte GRE Tutor: Rusty C.
While most of our professional tutors at Manhattan Review tend to have an easy time academically speaking, some exemplify the exact opposite. Rusty is one of those cases, but he also serves as a shining example of what perseverance and hard work can accomplish, as he'll tell all his students, openly, that getting to where he is today didn't come by accident. His honesty about his own trials and tribulations academically and his subsequent ability to rise above and become one of the most successful industrial engineers in Charlotte, is all the proof the majority of the students need. Not that he needs the help, but he also just so happens to have a winning personality and down-to-earth nature that also makes him a hit with our GRE test prep students.
Before joining Manhattan Review in Charlotte as a private tutor, Rusty had his share of academic trials. And though he finally conquered the GRE, himself, on the third try, he practically aced it earning a near perfect score. Alongside his years of professional experience, that is one of the most cherished pieces of information that Rusty always wants to impart on his students at Manhattan Review in the hopes that they too will be inspired to push forward in spite of any inherent obstacles that they may be encountering. Rusty is also keen on making the learning process as enjoyable as he possibly can, which our GRE prep students also appreciate. They also appreciate his ability to successfully manage everything he has going on in his life. In addition to private tutoring at Manhattan Review and continuing to work full time at one of the top companies in Charlotte, he also coaches little league football at his son Aiden's school. Both Rusty and his wife Alison are very active parents in Aiden's school.
