Job Description:
We are currently seeking a freelance writer to produce/update written content for our website. The content we need to produce will focus specifically on the description of standardized admission tests and the preparation for them. A background or some experience writing about test preparation or standardized testing in general would be beneficial, but this is not mandatory. Guidance on the content will be provided. Self-motivation is a must as both quality and quantity of produced content are important!
The position is available immediately. This is a long-term part-time (with approximately 20 hours workload per week).
This work will be done from home or your own office via telecommuting. Location is not important per se, but native English speakers are preferred.
Job Qualifications:
We are searching for a candidate with ample writing experience. The candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, be proficient in research, interpreting, and analyzing diverse data and possess the ability to work collaboratively and independently to achieve stated goals. However, the highest-valued trait is productivity. While quality of the content is important, producing a large volume of text in an error-free and grammatically sound manner within a reasonable time frame is of utmost importance. This job is aimed at candidates with an ability to work on tight deadlines while producing substantial amounts of text. The candidate needs to be self-motivated and able to work with a high degree of autonomy.
Compensation:
$22 per hour. A pay raise will be considered after the chosen applicant has established a successful and consistent performance record.
Please use the form below to submit your personal information, education, cover letter and resume (work sample is optional) to be considered by Manhattan Review for a Content Writer position.
