Meet a Long Island TOEFL Tutor: Dan B.
Dan B. grew up in a bilingual family and learned English as a second language after they moved from Toronto to the New York City area. He moved back to the Long Island area after finishing his education at Kenyon, where he earned a Master's degree in education. He now works as a tutor with Manhattan Review and has helped a variety of ESL students to learn the English language.
Dan's teaching methods are the result of him knowing what works best from his own experiences learning English, along with many years of helping students to prepare in the process of learning the material for exams such as the TOEFL and IELTS. When he is not helping students with their standardized test preparation, Dan spends his free time enjoying New York City.
