Meet a Louisville TOEFL Tutor: Lena O.

After moving to the United States with her family as a child, Lena had to work twice as hard as her peers in order to achieve success academically. Being a non native English speaker, Lena spent many hours with tutors and her non native English speaking peers practicing so that she could master the English language as she knew it was critical to her academic and professional success. With proficiency in English, Lena was able to graduate from high school among the top of her class and go on to attend one of the many respected universities in Louisville where she thrived both in the classroom and on the job at her internship at Humana, Inc. She received a job offer at Humana Inc. not long after graduating from the University of Louisville.

Nearly seven years into her career at Humana, Inc., Lena has worked her way up to director of her department and received countless accolades from her efforts in developing up and coming talent in her organization. This made Lena a prime candidate for her current role as a TOEFL instructor at Manhattan Review where she helps our TOEFL test prep students to build a foundation that will enable them to achieve their testing goals first and foremost, but also their academic and professional goals as well. Our students love to work with Lena not only because she has a wonderful sense of humor and is passionate about helping them to achieve their goals, but she also extends herself by being available even outside of classroom time and office hours in an effort to ensure her student's success. With elite private tutors like Lena, Manhattan Review continues to be the most highly respected resource for non native English speakers to learn how to master the English language and obtain the foundation to achieve their goals.
