Meet a Champaign LSAT Tutor: Charlotte P.
From a young age, Charlotte P. envisioned herself in a career that combined her love of writing with her passion for social justice. She wrote a popular political column in her high school newspaper, in addition to chairing fundraisers and being an active member of the speech and debate team. She also worked hard to obtain good grades, and she ultimately graduated near the top of her class. Charlotte was excited to attend Rice University, where she majored in political science. She chose to pursue a career as a lawyer specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and contract negotiations, establishing herself in a career where every word mattered and giving her the chance to contribute to causes bigger than herself. Charlotte worked with a private tutor to prepare for the LSAT to be certain she could quickly and confidently solve even the most challenging problems. Her diligence was rewarded with an impressive LSAT score, and she was accepted at her dream law school, Columbia University.
After graduating from Columbia, Charlotte accepted a position with a well-known firm in Champaign that specialized in contract law and also offered her opportunities to teach at the University of Illinois. She eventually chose to focus on teaching full-time and after obtaining a master's degree in education from Purdue University, she joined Manhattan Review to help students prepare for the LSAT. Students appreciate her firsthand experience and outgoing personality, and her tutoring calendar regularly fills up weeks in advance. When Charlotte isn't helping future lawyers excel on the LSAT, she can be found volunteering at a local nursing home and snowboarding in the winter.
