From a young age, Virginia T. imagined a career combining her love of writing with her passion for ethics and social justice. She wrote an advocacy column in her high school's newspaper, in addition to chairing fundraisers and being an active member of the speech and debate team. She also worked hard to obtain good grades, eventually graduating near the top of her class. Virginia was excited to attend American University, where she majored in political science. She decided to pursue a career as a lawyer specializing in mergers, acquisitions, and contract negotiations, establishing herself in a profession where every word mattered and providing her the chance to contribute to important causes bigger than herself.
