Meet a Los Angeles LSAT Tutor: Michael A.
A native of Lisle, Illinois, Michael spent most of the life in the Chicagoland area, where he initially pursued his law education at the University of Chicago after scoring in the 99 percentile on the LSAT. He began his budding law career in the "windy city" shortly after graduating at the top of his class, which was only the beginning of his impressive career.
After making partner within several years of joining Baker and McKenzie in Chicago, Michael was approached by a representative from a prospective client who needed representation regarding a corporate compliance issue. That client just so happened to be a multinational corporation that required him to travel to the west coast for several meetings every month while he was on retainer. While in Los Angeles for a business meeting, he met his wife Lordes, who was a Director of Operations at his client company. It didn't take long for the happy couple to decide on where to live, as Michael was eager to start anew in Los Angeles, California.
Shortly after moving to California and starting his own firm, Michael met another tutor with Manhattan Review at a networking event who then brought Michael onto the team of elite professional tutors. That was three years ago and Michael still remains one of the most sought after LSAT tutors at Manhattan Review. He brings a unique combination of real world experience in the field of law and cultural awareness having worked with some of the biggest multinational corporations in the world, something that students often find invaluable. Plus, it doesn't hurt that the Chicago transplant has taken a serious liking to L.A. Lakers, one of the most beloved and successful NBA teams of all time.
