My classes with Mr. Scheno were perfect to prepare for the actual TOEFL test – I can give my total recommendation for attending his classes. During our first appopintment he analyzed my strengths and weaknesses to set up my personal course syllabus. These customized classes improved my writing, speaking, reading and listening abilities a lot and raised my confidence to succeed the TOEFL test, which I in fact succeeded. At any time, Mr. Scheno responded rapidly and accurately to my questions and was available even beyond classes. It was a great and successfull experience to work with Mr. Scheno. Many thanks!

Meet a Milan TOEFL Tutor: Cassidy M.
Cassidy M. discovered an interest in languages at an early age. Born into a military family that relocated frequently, she grew up living all around the world but returned to the United States for college. Cassidy graduated from the University of Chicago with a bachelor's degree in linguistics. During her undergrad, she worked as a tutor in her university's learning center for four semesters and discovered how much she enjoyed helping others master information that came easily to her. She then obtained a master's degree in education from Yale University, as well as a TESOL certificate. After graduating, she accepted a job as a translator, working at a non-profit organization with an office in Milan. Fluent in three languages, Cassidy was excited to help people communicate better.
While Cassidy enjoyed her work, she also wanted to support others seeking to obtain their own professional and academic successes, and she knew the importance of a quality education. When she learned Manhattan Review had an office in Milan, she reached out about helping students prepare for the TOEFL and other standardized tests assessing one's knowledge of English. We were thrilled to welcome Cassidy to the team, and her classroom-style prep courses fill up almost as quickly as they are announced. Her students appreciate her strong academic knowledge, as well as her helpful time-management techniques and supportive personality. When she isn't guiding future college students to their own TOEFL success, Cassidy enjoys exploring Italy and playing the violin.
