I like his walkthrough of the problems. Also the strategies he gave. It helped me improve my English and writing. I went up on my SAT scores.

Meet a Queens SAT Tutor: Ian E.

Ian was born and raised in the New York City area and returned to the Queens borough after he earned his Master's degree in education from Yale. He now works as a high school math teacher in the area, along with helping Manhattan Review students during their process of learning the material for standardized tests, such as the SAT and ACT.

Ian's approach to helping students to learn the material covered on their standardized tests involves giving them the formulas and patterns that they need to understand the problems that are covered on the respective exams, then stepping back and letting them execute them as needed. When he is not teaching or tutoring students, Ian likes to spend his free time attending sporting events at Madison Square Garden or Yankee Stadium.
