Meet a Santiago Tutor: Antonio T.

Antonio T. grew up in Santiago, then moved to the United States to attend college. As someone who had been taught from an early age to respect the lessons of the past, he majored in history at the University of Texas. He then obtained a master's degree in education from Princeton University and after graduating, he accepted a position in the Boston public school system, teaching history and English to ESL students. Antonio greatly enjoyed the work he did, and he received countless well-deserved promotions over the years. As he found himself moving into a managerial position, however, he began to miss the interactions he'd had with students, teaching them important academic skills and helping them succeed in school. After a few years, he was offered a position at a private school in Santiago, and Antonio was thrilled to return home. When Manhattan Review opened an office in Santiago, Antonio was one of the first people to apply, and he quickly joined the team as a professional instructor and tutor.
