Meet a Santiago GMAT Tutor: Jennifer L.
Jennifer L. grew up in the Ottawa area but moved to Seattle in high school following her father's job transfer. Jennifer remained in the United States for college, earning a bachelor's degree in finance from Georgetown University. During her undergrad, she worked part-time as a tutor in her university's learning lab and loved helping other students master concepts that came easily to her. She knew obtaining a high GMAT score was an important step towards being considered by the world's leading business programs, so she worked hard and prepared for the exam by participating in a virtual prep course. Her hard work was rewarded when she obtained an impressive score that allowed her to obtain her MBA from the University of Virginia. After graduating, Jennifer accepted a position with a large international investment firm and relocated to Santiago. While Jennifer loved the work she did, she soon found herself missing the sense of accomplishment and fulfilment she'd experienced when working with students.
When Jennifer learned there was a local Manhattan Review office in Santiago, she reached out about helping students prepare for the GMAT. She was quickly welcomed to the team, and her classroom-style group courses fill up almost as quickly as they are announced. Her students appreciate her familiarity with quantitative reasoning skills, as well as her business connections within the city, and Jennifer loves watching her students obtain their own high scores and acceptance letters from respected business schools and graduate programs around the world. When she isn't guiding future executives to high test scores, Jennifer enjoys swimming and hiking in the Andes.
