SAT Tutoring in Milan

Are you a student in the Milan area seeking to obtain the highest possible score on the SAT? If you are searching for the most effective and comprehensive SAT preparation resources, look no further than the standardized test prep experts at Manhattan Review. Many students enjoy learning in classroom-style group settings, finding their comprehension improved by their peers' questions and comments. Other students, however, know that they do not learn at their best in a group setting. They worry about not grasping information as fast as other students and fear holding the group back. Alternatively, these students may feel frustrated when they have mastered a particular concept but cannot move on until the rest of the group is able to demonstrate similar mastery. If you find trying to learn complex academic information in a group more distracting than helpful and know you retain concepts best through one-on-one instruction, consider working with one of the experienced private tutors at Manhattan Review.

Meet a Milan SAT Tutor: Valentina R.

Valentina R. was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, but moved to the United States to attend college. Valentina fell in love with art at a young age and dreamed of one day becoming a scholar and a teacher. She worked very hard during high school, obtaining high grades and serving as vice president of the student council. Her hard work, combined with a very high SAT score, earned Valentina a place at Boston University, where she majored in art history. Valentina worked in the college's learning center as a tutor for four semesters, and she quickly discovered how much she enjoyed supporting others' learning. She also spent a semester studying abroad in Milan and hoped to return to the vibrant city someday.

After graduating from Boston University, Valentina obtained a master's degree in education from Johns Hopkins University. She then accepted a job teaching art history classes at a private college in Baltimore. After several years, Valentina was offered a position at an international school in Milan, and she couldn't wait to relocate. Knowing the value of a quality education, Valentina sought ways to help students earn their own college acceptance letters. She soon joined the team at Manhattan Review as a private tutor, and there is regularly a waitlist to work with her. Students praise her customized tutoring programs and her enthusiastic support, as well as her helpful study techniques. When she isn't guiding the next generation of college students to SAT success, Valentina can be found knitting and browsing through local thrift stores for vintage clothing.
