Meet a Pittsburgh SAT Tutor: Dillon A.
Growing up just outside of Pittsburgh, Dillon spent a lot of his youth doing two things: commuting back and forth into "the steel city" and studying. Dillion was a self professed "bookworm" who had dreams of working in cyber defense. And though, he enjoyed reading and learning about his future profession, he did have a few obstacles that he had to overcome by way of academics. More specifically, Dillon struggled to do well on the SAT, initially. By the second try, however, he had not only managed to achieve higher than his personal best, but he also managed to score within the 99th percentile, making him one of the best in the world. Dillion never forgot that experience, despite going on to attend the prestigious McAnulty College and Graduate School of Liberal Arts at Duquesne University, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Computer Science.
After graduating from Duquesne, it didn't take long for Dillon to land an entry level job in his chosen field with the long-time federal agency headquarters for cyber defense in Pittsburgh. That was nearly ten years ago. Since then, Dillion has received several promotions and has contributed to some of the most groundbreaking research and applications in his field, which have led him to a private tutoring positing with Manhattan Review. Students are surprised to learn that Dillon, despite his very technical career, he is quite down-to-earth, even possessing a comedic side to his personality, which helps lighten up mood during moments of intense discussion during SAT test preparation. Based on Dillon’s professional and academic achievements, and the person that he is, we are very excited to have him as part of our team of world-class SAT tutors at Manhattan Review in Pittsburgh.
