Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Sacramento SAT Tutor: Derek B.
Derek B. is a teacher and tutor in the Sacramento area who recently moved to the city after spending many years in Los Angeles. He studied at UCLA and earned his Master's degree in education, and now works as both a teacher and tutor who helps students with a variety of subject matters and exams, including the SAT and ACT.
Derek's approach to teaching students is a very flexible and improvisational one that is based around the fact that he believes most students have the self-awareness to acknowledge their own strengths and weaknesses. He focuses on what is necessary to help students achieve a higher score. In his spare time away from teaching and tutoring, Derek likes to play the drums.
