Funny, made things clear and related things to real life. The SAT / ACT course was very helpful, I don’t think I would’ve improved my reading skills without it. This course also gave me strategies to break down a reading. I got a feel for the SAT and had practice in areas I struggled in.

Meet a Seattle SAT Tutor: Robyn B.
SAT study should have a fun side, Robyn believes, because students are not going to get all they need to know out of the test prep program otherwise. A Stanford graduate with a M.Ed. from University of Seattle, Robyn has traveled the world for teaching programs before returning to the Pacific Northwest. She has taught English as a second language in foreign countries including Vietnam and South Korea. She also participated in the highly selective Teach for America program, where she dedicated three years and gained invaluable experience in Southwestern Texas.
Nowadays Robyn teaches at a local high school, leads the drama club, and helps high school students boost their SAT scores. She has been a huge source of success for the Manhattan Review team, encouraging SAT test-takers to reach their full potential and approach the standardized exam with 100 percent confidence and preparedness. With tips and techniques for taking the test, simplified formulas to make math easy and vocabulary games to make wordplay a bit whacky, she encourages the classroom to participate, collaborate, and conquer the course material. With her own almost-perfect SAT score kicking off her productive path, Robyn is both a role model and a truly gifted educator. In her spare time, Robyn plays the acoustic guitar, enjoys biking and hiking and is an avid lover of French cooking.
