TOEFL Tutoring in Colorado Springs (Colorado)
With the task of learning English being a potentially difficult one and a high score on the Test of English as a Foreign Language (or TOEFL) being potentially important to students looking to get into their choice of university, having someone to instruct you in some capacity and help you learn from your mistakes is a potentially critical part of the study process to consider. It is also important to consider the differences between the more academic and American TOEFL versus the more conversational and British IELTS exam. Manhattan Review has been providing tutors to students in and out of the Colorado Springs area since 1999, and the private tutors at Manhattan Review have their own unique benefits that make them the best choice for students looking to take advantage of a tutor to help them prepare themselves for the TOEFL exam. Manhattan Review private tutors can be used in either an in-person or online context depending on what the student feels is best for their course of study. Students can also take advantage of Manhattan Review tutors' ability to provide flexible scheduling and the ability to meet at a convenient location if they are working in-person, which benefits both the instructor and the student. Students who work with a Manhattan Review tutor also have the ability to customize their lesson plan to fit their strengths and weaknesses in a way that ensures a stronger and more well-rounded performance on the day of the exam. Several Manhattan Review tutors who teach the TOEFL exam are ESL speakers in their own right, and all have many years of experience with the exam and have taken it in their own right to ensure that they are as capable as they can be in teaching the exam.

Meet a Colorado Springs TOEFL Tutor: Brian P.
Brian P. grew up in an ESL family and began tutoring for the TOEFL shortly after he learned the English language and gained a high score on it that helped him get into college. Since attending University of Colorado at Colorado Springs and moving into the area, he has expanded his reach as a tutor to cover other standardized tests with Manhattan Review.
Brian's focus in teaching students the TOEFL involves relating as much of their own native languages as he can to the material that is covered in English so as to help emphasize the similarities and differences between the languages, and help them gain a greater understanding of the rules of English. In his spare time, Brian likes to attend basketball games.
