TOEFL Prep Course Melbourne - Photo of Student Mirco

My classes with Mr. Scheno were perfect to prepare for the actual TOEFL test – I can give my total recommendation for attending his classes. During our first appopintment he analyzed my strengths and weaknesses to set up my personal course syllabus. These customized classes improved my writing, speaking, reading and listening abilities a lot and raised my confidence to succeed the TOEFL test, which I in fact succeeded. At any time, Mr. Scheno responded rapidly and accurately to my questions and was available even beyond classes. It was a great and successfull experience to work with Mr. Scheno. Many thanks!

Meet a Melbourne TOEFL Tutor: Noah C.

Noah's father was a high-ranked officer with the U.S. Army, so he moved around quite a bit as a kid. He and his mother would accompany his father at military posts all across the globe. He has spent significant periods of time on the Greek Isles, in Turkey, Germany and Guatemala – just to name a few.

While this geographical impact meant that Noah never called one place home, he says that it's had a very positive impact on who he is today. Noah has never been tied down to one place for very long, and he is always hungry for adventure. He has backpacked Europe; he spent time five years in the Peace Corps; he even worked for the Teach for America program shortly after he graduated college.

Noah attended the University of Queensland while his family was still stationed in the Sydney area. He loved Australia and decided this would be the place to settle down – once he arrived at that point. With his knowledge of many languages (including proficiency in German, Russian, and Spanish), he lived a nomadic lifestyle for years before he found himself back in Melbourne in a Government-related post. Noah has worn a number of hats during his career, which ultimately went in the direction of International Relations.

Noah returned to Business School at the University of Melbourne, acquiring his MBA and opening his own consulting agency. In this capacity, he communicated with clients in a number of languages, launching an even greater degree of success. For the past four years, Noah has been a highly coveted private tutor with Manhattan Review in Melbourne. His ability to overcome language barriers has helped many of his students achieve top scores on the TOEFL. His understanding of undergraduate and post-graduate admissions has also been a crucial system of support. If you want to enhance your English language skills – regardless of your background – Noah will enthusiastically set out to help you succeed.
