TOEFL Tutoring in San Antonio (Texas)
Every student is different. Some require more structure, while others thrive most in an unstructured environment. What some students don't realize is how big of a role their individual learning style can and does impact their ability to effectively retain information and then consequently go on to successfully pass standardized tests. This is particularly relevant for standardized tests like the Test of English as a Foreign Language, or TOEFL. The TOEFL, which is used throughout the world as an assessment tool to determine English proficiency, can present quite a challenge if not adequately or effectively prepared for by students. At Manhattan Review, we have world-class private tutors who can help you master the English language and obtain your highest score possible on the TOEFL exam.
Since 1999, Manhattan Review has been the premiere provider of TOEFL test prep services. Our state-of-the-art program is unlike any other in San Antonio, as students come to know. We offer a unique boutique style of test prep services that allows each student to custom design their study program according to their individual learning style. This is done to ensure optimal results, and it has been highly successful for over 15 years.
Over the many years that we've been serving students all over the world, including San Antonio, Manhattan Review has established a stellar reputation of working with the best talent. Students from all over seek us out because they know that an affiliation with Manhattan Review is an affiliation with the best, which leads to opportunities both academically and professionally. Meet a San Antonio TOEFL Tutor: Erica M.
Growing up San Antonio in a non Native English speaking household, Erica had to learn to master English at an early age. She also grew up having a deep appreciation for art because of her surroundings; San Antonio, of course, being a town that is both rich in culture and history. As such, Erica was always spending time in downtown San Antonio, particularly at the famous cathedrals and the McNay Art Museum. Alongside her insatiable interest in art, both past and present, Erica also happened to be an excellent student, which is partly the reason for her high performance on her standardized tests, including the TOEFL.
Unlike many TOEFL test prep tutors elsewhere, tutors at Manhattan Review are not only knowledgeable on effective test taking strategies, but have also taken the tests themselves. This experience provides students and tutors with an inherent sense of connection and encourages partipators to trust our program and our tutors, who come from an extremely important vantage point of prior experience. That's why Erica is a great asset to our TOEFL test prep program at Manhattan Review.
In addition to having taken and aced the TOEFL herself, prior to earning her Bachelor of Art degree at the Southwest School of Art, Erica is also a highly respected art historian, working at a highly acclaimed museum in San Antonio. There, Erica has been able to parlay her love for art and her love for her hometown into an enviable career where she is enveloped by her passions every day. Aside from tutoring students at Manhattan Review, Erica often boasts of knowing no greater joy, professionally speaking. Of course, personally speaking, she knows a different joy as a result of being married to her husband, Oliver, for over 12 years and raising her three children.
