Meet a Seattle TOEFL Tutor: Ewan L.
Because Ewan's father was a top-ranking Army officer, the youngster moved around quite a bit as a young child. He spent time in Germany, France, Belgium, and South America before settling into his more-permanent home in Austin, Texas. Ewan became an early learner of different cultures and ways of life, something that fascinated him in his early academic track. He studied International Relations at the University of Texas College of Liberal Arts, and gained his Master of Global Policy Studies at UT as well. During an undergraduate internship to Lima, Ewan met and fell in love with Gabriella, with whom he began a long-term courtship.
Gabriella spoke Spanish as a first language and English as a second, but she and Ewan were able to meet somewhere in the middle. Upon completing his grad school coursework, Ewan returned to South America to propose to Gabriella. The newlywed couple moved to Seattle, where Gabriella scored impressively on her TOEFL exam with the tutoring of her husband. She went on to study at the University of Washington, while Ewan discovered his knack for teaching language. In the midst of his many freelance undertakings, Ewan has been collaborating with Manhattan Review for the past six years. He has helped non-native English speakers gain all the tools necessary to succeed on the TOEFL and gain admission to formidable higher learning facilities. Work with Ewan to discover your strength in language, and you'll be able to succeed anywhere in the world.
